Andy
Born in Germany, Andy Agne started his dance education at age 10. At age 16 he switched his emphasis to gymnastics, followed by aerial acrobatics at age 20. He is mainly self-taught, although he has trained with several aerialists and acrobats throughout his career.
After taking a leave of absence for almost a decade, he rekindled his love with the air in theatre in the United States. He has performed aerials in plays like Oceana and AIR at the VORTEX, Metamorphoses at the Zach Scott Theatre as well as numerous performances for CircX VorteX, fundraisers and other venues. He played the Devil in Sky Candy’s first theatrical production, The Red shoes and most recently participated in Sky Candy’s Latest production of “The Time Machine”.
He is a founding member of Sky Candy and teaches classes in lyra (aerial hoop), aerial Cube, Intro to Aerial, Aerial Bootcamp and our brand new early morning classes on Tuesday’s.
